Fees

Speyer operates transparently and cost-efficiently. Whenever possible, we provide fee estimates or fixed fees for our services. In addition, overviews of expected and incurred costs are made available online to our clients, so as to ensure a maximum of transparency. Speyer charges either against hourly rates, fixed fees or based on a subscription.

Hourly rates

At Speyer we apply hourly rates only when the amount of time involved in handling your case is hard to predict. Otherwise, it is always possible to agree on a total fee in advance, that can be lowered if the case turned out to require less time than previously estimated. Yet, when we do apply hourly rates, estimates and ranges will always be provided (and updated) to keep the billing process as transparent as possible.

Fixed fees

To help you manage costs and provide more transparency, we offer many of our services for a fixed fee. Services we offer for a fixed fee include:

  • Registering, maintaining and monitoring your trademarks, designs and patents
  • Enforcement services
  • Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing your contracts
  • IP strategy counseling
  • IP check

Subscription

We also offer subscriptions for companies that need legal advice or assistance on a regular basis for a flat monthly fee. Our subscription services are customized to your particular legal situation and specific needs. Examples of services we provide on a subscription basis include:
